Who?

Kinesiology has no age restrictions, it is for everyone that wants to function a little better and get more out of life.

what?

Kinesiology is the most comprehensive of the modern natural therapies. It is a potent, safe, powerful, hands-on, drug-free natural approach to holistic health care. It combines Western and Eastern wisdom and works on the philosophy that all stress, imbalances and blockages in the nervous system (mind), can create physiological changes in the body. By tapping into a person’s sub conscious mind we work in a systematic way towards achieving a goal set by the client:

  1. Gather information about a person’s structural, psychological, biochemical and emotional states.

  2. Unearth the sources of imbalance (stress) that is stopping a person from achieving their goal

  3. Bring to light the corrections required to restore balance within the nervous system and the body.

  4. Encourage the body’s innate ability to heal

  5. Empower the client to understand their behavioural patterns when exposed to stress and having the resources to recognise the triggers and make positive new choices moving forward.

how?

You may ask how do we “tap in” to someone’s subconscious. In kinesiology we use gentle muscle monitoring which works as a biofeedback system. Every cell in our body holds a memory of past experiences. The biofeedback system triggers a neurological response and testing muscles, acupoints, organs or body systems we are able to obtain the source of imbalances (stress, past traumas, lifestyle, diet) and how it is affecting a person.

why?

  • Do you constantly wake up feeling tired and drained?

  • Are you eating all the right stuff, exercising and still can’t shed the excess weight?

  • Are you generally feeling a little sore, a little tired, and can’t make decisions Then this may be for you…

For a long time western medicine has tried to separate the body from the mind and from the other thing called spirit or energy. Eastern medicine has long known and worked with the theory that you cannot treat a person’s physical symptoms alone or the disease will come back time and time again. You must look at a persons’ environment in which he lives in, his mental or internal dialogue, how connected this person feels in the world and how much energy this person is able to convert from his food and how the body is functioning generally.

As for the energy, we are made of energy. Quantum physicists have long discovered that in fact all physical atoms (our bodies included) are made up of vortices of energy that are constantly spinning and vibrating, each one radiating its own unique energy signature. Therefore, if we really want to observe ourselves and find out what we are, we are beings of energy and vibration, radiating our own unique energy signature.

Since we are made of energy, energy healing can be quite efficient at helping us feel better generally by releasing trapped tension or blocks and allowing us to step into our full potential.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is based on the belief that there is a connection between mind, body and environment to prevent and manage diseases.

According to Chinese medicine and other medical systems from the East, everyone has a vital energy or vital force known as qi (pronounced ‘chee’). When healthy, qi flows easily through the body. When stressed, the harmony and balance of qi is affected, causing disease.

Qi is made up of two opposite and complementary factors known as Yin and Yang. In TCM, the belief is that Yin and Yang are in everything. Yin is represented by water and Yang by fire. The balance between the two maintains harmony in your body, mind and the universe.

TCM also uses the theory of five elements – fire, earth, metal, water and wood – to explain how the body works. These elements correspond to particular organs and meridian channels in the body.

A thorough analysis of presenting physical symptoms from our first time client questionnaire allows us to assess the client from a TCM organ theory point of view.

In addition, a patient’s birth data helps us identify personality characteristics and emotional tendencies which affect both physical and emotional health. The Ba gua constitutional patterns are connected to specific elements (wood, fire, earth, water, metal) and incorporate advanced Chinese philosophy about how a person’s negative patterns of thinking and their relationships also affect their health.

The Ba gua constitution generates 3 numbers that represent our innate nature, our life purpose and the challenges our mind face when stressed.
